Management

Management comes from Italian word maneggiare, it means to handle something perfectly. This word drives from the Latin word manus. Management in the field of business and human organization activity is the act or process of getting people together to accomplish desired goals. Management based on planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing and controlling an organization or entities for the purpose of achieving a particular goal. The Resource factor includes the deployment and manipulation of human resources, financial resources, technological resources and natural resources.

Management can also refer to the person or people who perform the act of management. Considers management to consist of seven functions:

1. Planning : It is a psychological process of thinking about the activities required to develop a desired goal or target. A plan is an important aspect of business. It helps to clarify, focus and research related to business development.

2. Organizing : This function usually follows after planning which involves the activity of tasks, grouping of tasks into departments and the assignment of authority and resources allocation in the organization.

3. Leading : Leading is one of the major salient feature of organizational context where one person is able to enlist the aid and all working processes in order to accomplishment of main task.

4. Co-ordinating : is the activity of coordinating, making different people work together to achieve a major goal.

5. Controlling : is the managerial functions like planning, organizing, staffing and directing. It helps to check the errors and take the corrective action against them to minimized standard deviation and achieved in desired manner.

6. Staffing : Staffing term defines the management of employee schedules.

7. Motivating : Motivation is the collection of reasons that determines one to engage in a particular behavior.
